Tarot Spread
The Tarot Spread contains a set number of cards. These spreads contain cards from the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. Most tarot spreads do not use the entire tart deck, but some of them use half the deck or more. Here you will find three different examples of a Tarot Spread.
The Ten Card Spread is also known as a "Celtic Spread" and is probably the most widely used tarot spread by readers of the Ancient Celtic Method. This spread is very popular by people wanting an answer to a burning question. The position of the cards have a definite reference to an area of your life or current circumstance.
- First Card - describes present influences on you.
- Second Card - This card can strengthen or weaken the affect of the first card. It shows for example events that exist or future events in your life.
- Third Card - This card will show the likely hood of your question. For example, "am I dating my future husband".
- Fourth Card - This card shows or gives some background on the basis of your question.
- Fifth Card - This explains things that are in the process of getting completed.
- Sixth Card - This gives some insight on upcoming events in your life.
- Card Seven - This card gives insight into how you view yourself.
- Card Eight - This card represents your current environment.
- Card Nine - This card represents your thoughts and fears.
- Card Ten - This card will reveal what is going to happen.
Five Card Spread
The Five Card Spread uses all 22 cards of the Major Arcana and none from the Minor Arcana and is often when you have minor questions to be answered:
- First Card - describes what is going to happen.
- Second Card - describes what you can do from preventing this from happening.
- Third Card - describes why you are in your current situation.
- Fourth Card - gives insight on what you can do to control your destiny.
- Fifth Card - The result of your outcome if you can control it.
Seven Card Spread
The Seven Card Spread will provide quick and simple answers to your questions. Seven cards are dealt and depending of the cards, each will help to give positive or negative reinforcement on the outcome of your question. You add up the positives and negatives and your outcome will be found.
