You can talk to your spirit guide through several means. Some people communicate with their spirit guides in dreams while some communicate through meditation. To communicate with your spirit guide through meditation, you will need to prepare for it. Many people like to decorate their meditation space with candles or with a spiritual symbol such as a cross. Once the physical setting is in place, you are ready to begin your meditation. Find a comfortable position in which to sit – you may be sitting in it for 30 minutes or more. Close your eyes and take one very deep breath then release it through your mouth. This is to cleanse your lungs. Take three more deep breaths and imagine all the stress and anxiety in you leaving with those breaths. Imagine the white light of the universe moving over your body. Say a prayer, asking you spirit guide to come in to contact with you and thank them in advance for listening to your prayer. You may not reach your spirit guide through meditation the first time you try, so have patience. If you do receive a message from your spirit guide, you can then take the meditation wherever you want. You can ask your spirit guide their name; you can ask what your purpose in life is – whatever comes to your mind. You can use this meditation session to ask your guide for direction with problems or situations you are dealing with in life. Many people like to record what happened during their meditation sessions in a journal so they can remember. Everyone has a spirit guide, but not everyone is in touch with him or her.
