Dreams
"All I Have To Do is Dream", the all-time Everly Brothers hit conjures up a happier time when all you had to do was dream and everything was fine. Wouldn't that be nice!
Your dreams are influenced by the factors in your life. Different states of consciousness cause different brain activity. Dreams view your subconscious and record it in your memory. Your brain reviews and analyzes short term and spirit memory, juggles emotions, thoughts and ideas. To dream is to receive messages from yourself, learn to listen. Dreams are forgotten because you either don't care, or don't know how to listen. Begin a dream journal. Record the date and the way you felt, during and after the dream.
Dreams are significant. Meanings can and should be attributed to the different components of your dream. For example, colors. Different colors have different meanings. White, means perfection; yellow, intellect; green sharing; gray, uncommitted and orange drive and ambition.
Places you dream about are also meaningful. An airport means arrival, a dining room communication, a hallway, transition and a zoo a change in course. Animals, too, have their own meanings. Ants signify dissatisfaction, while dolphins mean friendliness, an elephant knowledge, and an owl wisdom.
