Sean Biggerstaff
Sean Biggerstaff, was born March 15, l983 in Glasgow, Scotland. His father was a fireman and his mother a community education worker. He attended school in Milngavie, just outside of Glasgow.
Sean began acting at age 5, and joined a local drama group, The Marybell Youth Theatre at age 7. Then for six years he was active in the Scottish Youth Theatre. Noticed by famed actor Alan Rickman, he was cast in the role of Tom in The Winter Guest in 1997. That appearance let to his being cast as Oliver in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Sean is an accomplished guitarist, and is currently in a new band, Jonny and the Robots.
