Ryan Seacrest
Ryan Seacrest, the host of the popular TV Show, American Idol, was born December 24, 1974 in Atlanta Georgia. He began his professional career at age sixteen when he applied for an internship at one of Atlanta's top radio stations STAR 94, while still in high school.
While working at STAR 94, he finished high school and went on to the University of Georgia majoring in journalism. His first TV show was the daily sports game show Radical Outdoor Challenge for ESPN. He also hosted TV Wild Animal Games and The Click for the Fox Family Channel.
Voted one of People Magazines "50 Most Beautiful People" in 2003, Seacrest has taken over the hosting job for America's Top 40 every week for Casey Kasem. He became the host of American Idol: The Search for a Superstar in 2002 and on April 13, 2005 received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
