Pauly Shore
Pauly Shore, was born Paul Montgomery Shore on February 1, 1968 in Hollywood, California. Pauly is the son of comic Sammy Shore, who opened for Elvis Presley in Las Vegas in the l960's and 70's and Mitzi Shore, the powerful and influential owner of Los Angeles' The Comedy Store.
Pauly started performing at his mother's club at age 19, where he developed his "stoner" persona, "The Wiezel." He shot to fame on MTV, with Totally Pauly. Shore has also appeared on TV's 21 Jump Street, and in the movies in "For Keeps" and "18 Again". His big screen breakthrough film was "Encino Man" followed by " Son In Law".
Pauly has also written, directed, financed and starred in "Pauly Shore is Dead" which went straight to video in 2005. He will be appearing as the star of the TBS program, "Minding the Store", in which he takes charge of his family club, The Comedy Store.
