Amanda Peet
Amanda Peet, was born January 11, 1972 in New York, New York. She is the younger of 2 children born to Charles, a lawyer and Penny a Social Worker. After majoring in history at Columbia University, she spent 4 years training with the famed drama coach Uta Hagen. She supported herself by working as a waitress and doing commercials.
Her film debut was in 1995's Animal Room. Amanda was also featured in The Whole Nine Yards, Saving Silverman and She's the One.
The star of WB's Jack and Jill, she has also made TV appearances on NYPD Blue, Law and Order and Central Park West.
Ms. Peet was named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful Women in the World.
