Danica Patrick
Danica Patrick, was born March 25, 1982 in Beloit Wisconsin to TJ and Bev Patrick. She calls her parents, TJ and Bev the greatest influences in her life.
The 5'1" 100 lb. racing sensation was the first woman to lead a lap in the Indianapolis 500 Auto race; and she had the highest finish of any female, 4th. But for a fuel miscalculation, she could have been the first female to win the Indy 500.
The recently engaged Patrick, now calls Phoenix, Arizona her home. She has a pet miniature schnauzer and religiously watches Regis and Kelly. Her physical preparation consists of running weight training and yoga. Her mental preparation is visualization.
A member of the Rahal Letterman racing Trio, she achieved one of her goals this year, that was to be named the Rookie of the Year in the 500. The publicity generated by her appearance raised the TV ratings of the race 30%. Prior to the race, she made numerous TV appearances, including the Letterman show. A strikingly attractive young woman, she is sure to have many more tv appearances and if the advertising world is on the ball, she will also have a lot of commercial opportunities in the future.
