Constantine Maroulis
Constantine Maroulis, was born September 17, 1975 in New York. He graduated from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey in 1993, and from the prestigious Boston Conservatory in 2002.
Maroulis appeared in the National Touring Company's production of the Broadway show, Rent. He is lead singer of the rock band "Pray for the Soul of Betty." He took a temporary leave of absence from the band to join American Idol and returned after he was voted off the show.
In August 2001, he played Hedwig in the off Broadway musical Hedwig and the Angry Itch. He also appeared that year on the TV show Law and Order, Special Victim's Unit that includes star Mariska Hargitay.
In May 2005, Pray for the Soul of Betty released their self-produced and self titled CD on their own label, Baby Julius Productions.
