Carrie Underwood was the winner of the 2005 American Idol Season. Carrie was born in Checotah, OK on March 9, 1983. She has been the talk of her town since her recent success as being one of the finalist on the American Idol 2005 show. Carrie auditioned for the show in St. Louis, MO. She is a 22 year old college senior at Northeastern State University and is described as a very poliet and quiet girl. However, when it comes to her singing, she is very intense.
Carrie has sang all of her life since the age of three. Most people thought that she would make a career out of her singing. It has been said by many of her friends that she is a "Country Singer" who loves to listen to heavy metal. For the American Idol show, she has sang such songs as "When Will I Be Loved, "MacArthur Park" and "Sin Wagon".
